FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can the tape be used on ... surface?
Can the tape be used on ... surface?
The tape works best on smooth surfaces with minimal imperfections. For optimal adhesion, always ensure the surface is clean, dry, dust-free, and grease-free. You can also clean the surface with some rubbing alcohol, if applicable.
✅ Recommended surfaces:
- Processed (smooth) wood
- Plastic laminate
- Plastic types
- Glass
- Metal
- Stone, concrete
- Cardboard/paper with glossy coating
- Ceramics
- Clean, dry, dust-free and grease-free surface
❌ Dissuaded surfaces:
- Fragile wallpaper, plasterwork (stucco)
- Vulnerable wall paint or lacquer
- Wet, greasy or dusty
- Cotton, wool, polyester
- Uneven surfaces
- Cardboard/paper without coating
- Surfaces with any type of non-stick coating
- Dirt-repellent paints
Please note that the recommended and discouraged surfaces may vary in texture for your specific situation. We recommend always testing a section first to ensure adhesion and to prevent damage when removing the tape. All information provided is solely a recommendation based on our best knowledge and practical experience.
How can I remove the tape again?
How can I remove the tape again?
The tape can be easily removed by pulling it off from a corner. If you can't reach the tape, you can also gently pull the object off, or gently twist it until the object comes loose from the tape.
Note: Permanent adhesive on delicate wallpaper, plaster, wall paint, or lacquer. Removing the tape may leave damage or signs of wear.
Can the tape be used outdoors (in the rain)?
Can the tape be used outdoors (in the rain)?
Yes, the tape can be used both indoors and outdoors. However, please note that the tape is not completely waterproof. It can withstand splashes of water. For optimal adhesion, always ensure the surface is clean, dry, dust-free, and grease-free when applying.
How do I reuse the tape?
How do I reuse the tape?
To reuse your tape, simply rinse the piece with some water. Once the piece is completely dry, you're ready to go! Tip: Use a hairdryer to dry the tape extra quickly!
What is the maximum load capacity?
What is the maximum load capacity?
The maximum vertical load capacity is 2-4 kg. This is a general estimate; it's possible to attach heavier objects as long as there's enough surface area to adhere to. This does vary depending on the object and how much surface area the tape can hold. Keep in mind to cover as much surface area as possible. The load-bearing capacity is based on objects with a maximum depth of 5 cm. Objects with a depth greater than 5 cm place more pressure on the fastener and are more likely to fail.
Weight limits may vary depending on surface texture, porosity, and flatness. Both surfaces must be completely flat and in full contact with the tape. **Not for use on delicate wallpaper, delicate surfaces, polyethylene and polypropylene plastics or other non-stick surfaces.
What is the min. and max. temperature that the tape can withstand?
What is the min. and max. temperature that the tape can withstand?
The tape has a temperature resistance of -16°C to 65°C.
